Electrical MGA

I have found the need to install a power outlet on my MGA i.e. cigar
lighter.  Moving into the modern world I have found it necessary to be
able to hook up my cell phone and or GPS, no more maps flapping in the
wind.
Anyway, being short on electrical knowledge I would appreciate some
advice from the list on procuring and installing an electrical cigar
socket.
