Okay, I followed David's advice and got the thing
MOSTLY disassembled. I only have three small sticking
points:
1) The right side heater control knob will not
release when the little button is pushed in. Anyone
ever bumped into this before? The dimmer knob
released easily, the other heater control knob
released easily, but this one isn't budging. I'm
thinking I might have to force it off, probably
destroying it in the process, but let me know if there
are any other ideas.
2) The oil pressure gauge. I see one small nut at
the top, and I assume there is another at the bottom,
but how can I get to that top one? The access seems
to be through the speedo opening, but the angle is
such that I can't seem to get any wrench onto it. Am
I going about it incorrectly?
3) The turn signal indicators. How do those come
out? The don't seem to want to pry out forwards like
the other lights, and I don't want to force them.
Thanks again for the rudimentary assistance. It's the
only kind I need...
Cheers,
