Sort of. It is also an example of backward looking conversions.
If you are going to put a more modern V6 into an MG, why on earth would you
choose one of the early 80s truck engines with a carb (thus the need for the
ugly bulge) instead of the later, stronger, more powerful, more efficient,
lower smog and perhaps most important LOWER injected motor?? They will fit in
without altering the bonnet. Stock power from 140 to 185 bhp depending on
displacement.
