Frank, just to prepare you for the worst....

I tried everything, all list suggestions, a gear puller, etc.  Finally had
to destroy the
original wheel on my 77 B.  Hated to do so, but was replacing it anyway with
no intent to re-use.
Hope you will have better luck.
