My messages to the list disappeared (well, *I* didn't get them), so I
am thinking the server had issues and the weekend meant they weren't
seen to until now.
Darn, and it was the first time I needed some quick advice from the
"experts".
I still need it, though.
In case the messages disappeared completely:
I am concerned about how I am hooking up the linkages/cabling for my
"new" HF4s - I had to quickly pull the old ones (to swap for the new
ones) and then use the same linkages so I have now totally forgotten
exactly how they were set up. When I stared at the original I
thought... "that looks easy enough to me" so I just jotted down a few
"mental notes" which have now faded.
The Haynes and "Complete MGB..." manuals are good, but not good enough.
If anyone has a series of nice close-up pictures of their SUs, lots of
angles and clearly showing linkages, etc. I would be grateful to be
pointed to them (I can't quite find what I am looking for on the 'Net
by Googling).
I just need some reassurance as this is the first time I have had the
SUs totally in bits like this.
