This is VERY important.  I once owned a Triumph
TR6.  The ground strap between the engine and
the chassis broke.  When I tried to start the
engine, the ground strap [that completes
the starter circuit] was missing leaving only
one connection to carry the current -- the
speedometer cable!  Not pretty.
