Folks,
I've installed a new alternator (from O'Reilly's) that is putting out 13.5
volts at the alternator. Looking inside the housing it has a 14TR number on
it (I think this is the regulator, which my Lucus repair manual says should
be a 4TR, not 14TR). Is this enough to keep everything charged up? If not,
what should I check, or do I need yet another alternator?
It's 80 degrees here in NE Missouri and I'd really like to be DRIVING, not
repairing the car:-(.
Thanks,
Monte
