Unless I have the dynamics all wrong the front splines would normally show less wear when compared to the rear. The front wires will move in the oppostie directon on the hubs only when the brakes are applied while reversing. As this is normally done at low speeds, there might be no movement at all. But as Bill points out there is more movement at the rear because of the power on, off, and braking. That would cause faster wear than at the front. Blake |
