The Miata engine makes a fine replacement for the original MG lump, if you
are heading in the engine swap direction anyway.
A friend has one in a Twincam (didn't have the original engine) and now has
emmissions free 140 bhp and a 5 speed - a reliable, clean engine with an
extra 50% power boost - not bad, I say.
