Hi John, welcome back. If the piece of material you found is from the clutch, it means that there will be metal to metal contact whenever the clutch engages. There's bound to be scoring when that happens and things can only get worse. I know it's a lot of work but I'd get the tranny out of the car and have the pros go through the OD, unless their labor cost is prohibitive. Cheers, CR |
