Chrome bumper cars usually have two vent pipes in the boot/trunk ending in
Tee's. One goes to the electrical end of the pump and the other to the pump
body just above the diaphragm. Rubber bumper pumps only have the one pipe
as the electrical end is in the boot anyway. However replacement pumps may
only have one vent or none at all. If there is nowhere on the pump to put
it just tie it up out of the way, you may want it for the next pump, as I
did when I replaced the crappy 'pointless' electronic pump with the proper
SU unit.
