Hello,
I am working on the transmission I am going to use to swap out my leaky unit
and am in the process of changing out oil seals.
I have the front seal replaced OK, but the rear seal is giving me a problem.
I have the flange where the drive shaft bolts to removed but don't know how
the oil seal will come out. Any hints on getting the seal out? It looks like
there is a metal washer or something for the part I can see. It looks like it
is painted the original gray or silver color.
Sorry for the lame questions I am not much of a mechanic but like to work on
the car anyway.
