Gerry,

For this type of use the Low End Garmin would be just fine like the Geko 101
(Battery Powered only) but they do have units you can also plug into the
lighter socket as well.

Folks:

I am looking to get a GPS system but there seems to be a gazzillion
models out there. The primary use of the GPS is as a trip odometer
and a speedometer - I am not interested in mapping software or
other features. It will used on a dual-sport bike for enduros and
trials but will probably find its way into the MG so that I don't
get stopped for doing 82mph in a 55!!!!

If any body has experience with the smaller GPS systems. I'd like
to hear your comments.

Gerry
