Ron,
the torque wrench was discussed at length a while back and I believe the
consensus was that the clicker wrenches are not as reliable due to being so
sensitive that they get out of calibration and there is little way to adjust
them. A Craftsman, direct-read (I'm not sure what they're called-the one
with the bar that flexes and has a pointer) can be had for $30 and if it
gets out of calibration you just have to bend the pointer.
