I just finished dealing with the same type problem on a 72 BGT system with
new hub, rotor, and bearings. First off, have a look at how its "warped".
Is it actually warped or out of it's proper plane? On mine the rotor hit one
side of the caliper and then the other. There was a wobble of .020 inches.
Spec requires .003 or .004. When I had the brand new rotor turned, the shop
said he had to take off some metal to get it flat. I took it home and bolted
it It still got .0020 at the edge. Turns out a burr in the hub on the bearing
seat caused it. Make sure your bearings are well seated.
