There was no "Midget" in 1956 -- it must have been a misprint for 1976 (the
serial number seems to confirm that). Or '66... or '36. I don't know if they
were selling any cars in '46 -- '47, yeah, could be a TC "Midget".
Anyway, a clean, rust-free 76 Midget might be worth that -- of course it
depends what's wrong with it. If you are looking for a rubber-bumper Midget
it would be worth checking into.
