Sorry to be late getting back to this, but Moss Motors uses the Lucas logo on
their own fog lights with no problem. I asked Kelvin about the legal
implications of that and, while I forget the exact words, it was sort of a
shrug, as
in, "who is there to bother us?" Other people use it for other
things--t-shirts, for example.
I know that in the aerospace world the Lucas company, most of it, was bought
by Smiths years ago. And I know that before that purchase the Lucas people
ran and hid their faces whenever any automotive topic came up. They want no
part of it. I think we'll be OK.
