Thanks to all who offered various tips on late model 'B' steering wheel
removal. In case some of you had a pool going...
1. steering wheel puller - nope
2. Very large gear puller - nope
3. Apply heat, then pull on wheel - nope
4. Pressure with knees under backside of wheel, then hard taps on shaft with
big hammer - nope
5. Leave nut on a few turns, then apply my full 200+ pounds of body weight to
pull on wheel - nope
6. Cutting wheel and totally destroy original wheel - yep!
The entire point of removing wheel was to install new Motolita wheel, so I
finally sacrificed the original. Hated to do it, but love the new wheel!
