To fix this problem in Outlook Express, go to Tools, Options, and then click
on the Security tab. Uncheck the check box that states: "Do not allow
attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".

I am having a related problem with Outlook Express mail. For years I used
Netscape for mail but my Dell computer had Outlook Express and IE already
installed so I figured what the heck. OE now deletes any attachments to
incoming mail even tho I know them to be clean. Is there a fix for this?
