Since the dizzy drive was 180d out, the plug wires were also 180d out to
make it run. You may have fixed one but not the other. With the dizzy
drive gear installed right, the terminal on the dizzy cap closest to #1
plug would be the #1 wire. Firing order is 1-3-4-2 anti-clockwise around
the cap. If the drive gear is 180d out, then the terminal on the cap
closest to #1 plug will need to be connected to the #3 plug, and firing
order is the same.
Remove rocker cover. Rotate engine to TDC when both valves on #1 are
closed (compression cycle). If the rockers on cylinder 1 are rocking at
TDC, give the engine one complete turn. Remove dizzy cap and check
position of the rotor. Whichever terminal the rotor is pointing at will be
the #1 plug wire, and firing order from there is still 1-3-4-2.
