Sounds like it isn't closing properly. Do you have the anti-burst locks
with the push-button handles? If so the slot in the rotating part of the
door part of the lock should engage with the bar and click twice as the door
closes. With the door open make sure this happens when the rotating part
(with the cutout) is rotated with a screwdriver (two clicks) and releases
when the button is pushed or handle pulled. DON'T try to close the door
with it like this. Maybe the levers etc inside the door are maladjusted and
preventing it going to the second click. If so it is a relatively easy
adjustment as I recall, a spring clip unfastens from the rod allowing a
threaded part to be turned so adjusting the effective length of the rods.
