I don't think non-matching seats are at all a good comparison to the
carpet issue. The black and tan combo as installed in the MG doesn't
look bad to me. It's what I'm used to (and reminding me of good beer
doesn't hurt). The black is in the areas most likely to become filthy
(or covered by a black floor mat) anyway.
But Kelvin, since mixing of colors is such a bad thing, when can I
expect to be able to buy a door pull in champagne, so I don't have to
keep using the black ones? ;-)
