The bolts have a bridge clip that exerts pressure on both the intake and
exhaust manifold flanges. You will need to remove both of these bolts to
get either manifold off. The lower ones are best accessed from below, with
the exhaust pipe disconnected.

Is there a secret method of getting the intake manifold off of the Cylinder
Head? I have every bolt that I can find off. I even unbolted the cat,
thinking maybe it was binding it up a little. Still wont budge. I am
assuming that I have to get this off to be able to get to the last two bolts
to get the Exhaust manifold off. Any help would be appreciated. By the way

am working on a 79 midget 1500cc engine.
