Dennis,
Mequire makes an outstanding product developed for Air Force aircraft canopies.
I bought some at Carlisle last year and was amazed after I used it. It's a 
two-part system with a cleaner and a polish. The stuff I bought had just come 
out and didn't really have a name, but it might now....about $7.00 for each 
bottle.
