Well, this all sounds like the experience I had with VB about 10-12 years
ago. They gave me the run around after they messed up my order. And if you
notice, there is absolutely no mention in their catalogues about
"satisfaction guaranteed."
I'm glad you brought this to the list. In my opinion, you buy at VB at your
own risk. If they make a mistake, like they did with me twice on the same
order, they will make the customer pay for it. This is totally unacceptable.
I think you need to research your parts suppliers more. I will never order
from VB again and I never have had the need to buy from VB as there are
other suppliers out there. I'm not sure about the Midget. But if Moss
doesn't have it, there is TRF or Proper MG, and lots of other parts
specialists. Moss resellers like Ed or Jeff also can help track down some
of the obscure parts if necessary (but only if you support them with your
business).
