While I agree that the IQ of owners of Japanese cars seems to be in inverse 
proportion to the bore of their exhaust pipes, and while the joy of engine 
modification has decreased substantially with increasing emissions testing, one 
should keep in mind that some of the 'ricers' do indeed perform.

I was looking at this month's issue of Turbo and saw with interest the 6 
cylinder 3 litre Toyota putting out around 850 bhp on the street......on the 
street.
