Clogged vapor pipe on 1980 MGB

I'm still trying to clear the vapor pipe on my MGB.  I used a compressor with a 
blow gun, but it didn't have much effect.  I was thinking of squirting some 
carb cleaner into the pipe to try to break apart whatever's clogged in there, 
but so far I've just tried air.  Any suggestions?
