Fuel pump

Hi All :-)

having a problem remembering where my fuel pump was mounted, had a look at a
friends mark1 and his is on the front of the boot floor (the vertical part)
but when i lay my wiring loom on the floor the wires for it are closer to
the battery box, is this where it gets mounted on a '73?
