Gents, This probably only applies to US listers but I don't know. I seem to
be getting about 20% better gas mileage in my truck (the only car I've been
driving of late) since I switched from BP to Citgo here in NE Ohio. Has
anyone else ever seen anything like this? I use about 1 tank every 10 days.
I've seen the improvement for three tanks in a row, but haven't tried a tank
of BP again yet.
I have very repeatable driving habits, I only drive to three places and I do
it all the same number of times per week, so that isn't a factor.
I used to get this large a change when Colorado switched from summer to winter
gas. So maybe the question is, does BP use ethanol and Citgo doesn't?
Just one of those curious things that broke college kids dwell over.
