KY Jelly. It is water soluble and thus washes off easily when you are done.
Unlike WD40 which is petroleum based and can attack rubber.

Subject: Rubber Bushing Lubricant
Just a general question. What do you folks use as a rubber bushing
lubricant?
I've got a couple of squeaks around the bushing area and am looking for
suggestions. I was thinking WD40 but not real sure that stuff is okay.
Thanks.
