David, I have never taken a hard top apart, or even owned one for that
matter but... The rubber is probably of similar construction to the stuff
that seals the quarterlite glass into its frame. I have heard it called an
unholy combination of rubber and tar paper, anyways you can get it at any
glass installer, they have it in rolls of varying width and thickness, it is
also easy to cut. The tar paper aspect of construction helps to create a
good seal. In the Quarterlite installation, you put it on the edge of the
glass and push it into the frame to form a u shaped channel and then trim it
flush with the frame with a razor
