When I did mine I had to take the door back off the car and re-glue it with
the same 3M weatherstriping adhesive I used on the rest. There was an issue
with the rubbing between the seal and the body edge making it pop out again.
I know that silicon can attack rubber, but I sprayed some on the installed
seal and it has behaved itself since.

narrow one fits in a channel and goes around the full circumference of

inner seal. The top portion holds fine, but the lateral wings fall out
easily. Does one have to use some type of adhesive to hold this portion
of the seal? If so, what type do you experienced folks recommend? >>
