Change to SU carbs 100
New Fuel Pump 57
Valve Cover Gasket 9
Battery 100
Grand total $3,653
Call it $5,000 to figure in fiddly bits that I don't
remember, that's over 9 years and 65,000 miles, never been
stranded, always got home under it's own power.
I'd say you're not at all unrealistic, particulalry if
you're willing to spend as much on an MGB as you would on a
Miata.
