It may not be financially feasible for Demis to order parts from the UK
or Canada.
Average income in Cuba is 400 pesos a month.  Officially, the peso is
tied to the dollar -  but it trades internally at a rate of 25-27 pesos
to a dollar.

Why can he get an intake manifold?  Isn't the US the only county that
has a trade embargo against Cuba?  Wouldn't the UK or Canadian suppliers
ship to him?
