Wes, if the car was originally white (Old English White) then the interior
would have been either black with red piping or red with black piping. If
it has the original seats, you may find bits of the original upholstery
around the bolts that regulate the reclining feature of the seatback - I
did on my car, even though the seats had been recovered at some point. As
others have suggested, I would definitely get the BMIHT certificate, it's
an invaluable resource as far as the originality of your car is concerned.
BTW, the original color for the hood would have been grey.
