I thought your original post was great...
It led to a comment from Max, about European LHD metal dashes being used
in US MKII cars, which led to a response and further info from Jim
Stuart, and from there Kelvin Dodd helped me get a repro European MKII
metal dash speaker console to match up with the US market LHD MKI metal
dash and the larger MKII 4 syncro transmission tunnel.
Never would have happened without your original post. :-)
It helped me a lot. Lots of good info and a big problem solved -- the
speaker console from European LHD.
