Well, that thought almost always crosses my mind this time of year. The
wife has even recently agreed to move with Florida and Texas as two
possibilities. Since I got married, I did manage to move south twice but
ended up back on Montana each time. The irony is that I lived most of my
youth in the south - I didn't see my first snow until I was five when the
family moved to New England. Later, I cursed my college years in the
frigid cold of Nebraska. Little did I realize that my experience with cold
would only get worse - much worse. And throw in my MG as main winter
transport for college and ten years following that, feeble heat and all,
plus lots of outdoors tinkering. At least now, I have a garage and I have
other cars with heat. But it sure would be nice to have convertible season
that lasts longer than three months.
