I have a problem with silicon grease on the glass edges as it makes a
mess. They should be nice and furry clean yes? I found that some of the
replacement fuzzy rubber backed U shaped stuff that goes inside the slide
is too thick. I compared two suppliers - one was fine but t'other was too
tight and was 0.5mm too wide at the bottom of the U. Had I used the latter
the glass would have been very stiff to move. Worked - but stiff!!!
