Ditto on the Daimler comparison -- except that this grille opening is much smaller. In fact, it could be the only grill opening that allows LESS air flow than the standard MGA grill. You'd think after all that trouble he could have painted the fenders the same color as the rest of the car. It's funny that hodge-podges of this ilk are always described as "race cars". What sanctioning body would accept this sort of thing? Although there is a long tradition of MG "specials" in US road racing, the various organizations don't seem to be nearly as freewheeling these days. BTW, I counted 12 chokes. on 10/31/02 6:53 AM, WSpohn4@aol.com at WSpohn4@aol.com wrote: > Hey guys - have a look at e-bay item 1871554453 and tell me what you think > the verdict should be on this guy - especially the tacky nose treatment and > badging. > > > Bill > (It's a V12 MGA!) > -- Max Heim '66 MGB GHN3L76149 If you're near Mountain View, CA, it's the primer red one with chrome wires /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
