As for your question, I don't even know how an adjustable timing light is
supposed to work. A normal timing light flashes when the #1 plug fires; this
flash "freezes" the timing mark on the pulley so you can compare it to the
fixed scale and determine the advance (or lack of same). What the heck would
you adjust in this system?
