For some time it's bugged me that when changing from 2nd to 3rd, if I have forgotten to switch off the overdrive it engages all on its own and usually when it is not appropriate. I came up with a simple mod which I have detailed at http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk, click on 'Spanners' and 'Overdrive. Read the warnings carefully, I wonder how many of you will have the guts to try it for yourselves ...
