Make sure the helmet has a Snell SA2000 rating. Do not buy a helmet rated
M95 or M2000, which does not include fire protection. (M is for motorcycle
use.) The SA rated helmet will be accepted by SCCA for performance rally
use. (Must be at least SA90 or newer. You might find a deal on an SA95,
which will be usable until 2010. SA2000 is usable until 2015.)
I hear that Bell isn't what it used to be. Bieffe is good. Check out Shoei
