In your era of MGB the factory powered the washers, wipers and heater fan of
the accessories position of the ignition switch i.e. the same as the radio.
The white/green off the switch goes through an in-line fuse (under the main
fusebox) and becomes and green/black. You should find an empty connector on
a green/black behind the centre console and this is for the radio, which
should have its own in-line fuse as well.
