MGA 1500 used 10-spline half shafts. MGA 1600 used 26 splines up to
(c)82892. MGA 1600 (MK-II) used 25 splines from (c)82893 on. MGB always
used 25 splines. I have a pair of 25-spline half shafts (cheap) if you
need them. Can't help with the spider gear, but you can buy new ones, at
least for the 10 or 25 spline shafts. Just install the sun gears with the
splines that match the half shafts. If you have procured a complete MGB
axel assembly you can use the 25-spline MGB half shafts in the MGA housing.
