You might have to use a large ViceGrip to clamp that wrench onto the nut to
avoid breaaking the wrench end. That is exactly the technique I use for
very stubborn flare nuts with slightly rounded corners. When you cut open
the ring end of the box end wrench it suddenly becomes very weak
(flexible), because the wall thickness of a box end wrench is much thinner
than the flare nut wrench.
