Try www.tptools.com They have 7 foot 3/8" whip hoses for hooking up blast
cabinets, etc. Thats about the shortest ones I know of. Why not use pipe
instead? It's not that difficult to use, you should be able to buy threaded
fittings/pipe the right length if you can't thread pipe yourself.
