yellowed plastic switch...can the yellow be reversed?

I am replacing the emergency hazard switch from my driver car with one from
a parts car. The parts car switch has a yellowed plasic surround...from
age. Is there anyway to return it to its original appearance (which was
...???clear???) or should I just paint it carefully to hide the yellowing?
