i pulled the slave's clevis pin (AI017), and find the pin is quite worn and out
of
round; and there is a good bit of elongation in the holes of the clutch fork
(AI009A)---but a LOT more in the slave's push rod (AI016 )...i don't know how
measure it, but there is a good bit of "slop" there..
is it foolish/wishful thinking to hope to *patch* it up (like by replacing the
push rod
and pin) where it will work *this* driving season by simply replacing the pin
and
push rod??
hmmm...i noticed i could move the clutch fork almost half an inch by hand,
without a whole lot of effort--does that mean something?
sorry if boring the list with stupid questions--i'd really rather be
driving..anyway,
i don't have the tools, space, time, nor expertise to pull the engine and fix
rebuild
the clutch myself....anyone recommend a good repair person in Denmark????
sigh!
