Well, this was just another week of commuting in the '66 MGB. Got some good
news. My new engine has arrived at the trucking company. They want too
much to deliver it the 30 miles from the terminal, so I'm picking it up in
the next few days. Bad news of the week was another flat tire. I'm "this"
close to dumping the wires & buying another set of alloy k/o's like those I
use for racing.

More good news was that the insurance card for the Turner arrived. Had
planned to register it yesterday. But, work got too crazed. Can't wait to
get it home, get it running right & paint it Mineral Blue & then install
Biscuit interior. Yup! It's going to be a match with the B. Big
difference is that when parked on the left of the B, I will be able to steer
both. (Got it? The B is LHD.)

Only other older British car I saw this week was the photo of a co-worker's
Midget. Where are all the old Brit cars hiding? Maybe I'll see some at the
Greenwich Concours. Yes, I know. I should support my club (CT MG Club) &
go to British By The Sea. But it will kill the entire day & I'll have to
sit in crawling traffic coming back from the far right side of the state.
Whereas Greenwich is only 15 minutes away against traffic. I can spend 2
hours for the trip & a view & chat. And, then get home to finish working on
prepping the garage for the transplant.
