With the list's help I now have the dwell set properly at 60 (ok, ok..
Actually 59, but I was tired of fiddling with it!)
A _major_ improvement. It seems to have taken care of the problem of it
idling down and dying when warm, although the real test of that will be
when I drive it to work next week. I also have a much lower idle (about
650) that is rock steady. Previously the best I could get was 850
andthat was kinda iffy. It also seems to be even more responsive than
before to the accelerator. Also, no more white smoke! Yay!
I haven't checked the timing yet since it was such a nice day and I
wanted to actually drive the beastie a bit, but maybe I'll get all
grungy tonorrow trying to find those teeth and the mark on the pulley.
